It consists of the elements that allow us to identify ourselves and access corporate resources, such as our:
- accounts,
- passwords,
- authentication factors or
- access permissions.
For this reason, protecting our digital identity is essential to conducting our business safely.
Every time we log in:
- by email,
- to a corporate application or
- to an information repository,
We do this using our digital identity.
In addition, the actions taken are linked to it, making it possible to identify who accesses the information and how they use it.
For this reason, using our digital identity comes with a responsibility.
Our digital identity is personal and non-transferable and must be used only by its holder.
Protecting it involves properly following the security measures established by the organization and acting responsibly when using our credentials and access privileges.
Remember: Your digital identity is the key to accessing corporate resources.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
If, despite complying with all these measures, you encounter situations that do not conform to the level of security required or established in internal policies, do not hesitate to inform your line manager, the Security Manager, security personnel and/or the IT department, depending on the type of suspicion.
If it happens to you on a personal level, report it directly to the police authorities, so that they can give you appropriate advice and conduct an investigation.
